ChemSpider is a thriving structure-centric community attracting thousands of Chemists a day searching for chemistry related data. With over 23 million chemical structures listed and integration with Wikipedia, scientific journals, supplier information and a range of other data sources ChemSpider is rapidly becoming the essential information resource for research chemists.

There are a number of opportunities to promote sales of your products and services by targeting your advertising at members of the ChemSpider community and these include:

Banner Advertising

Advertisers can serve banner adverts across all 24 million pages of the site on a rotating basis. Detailed analysis of the adverts performance in terms of click thrus and ad impressions can be provided allowing ChemSpider to demonstrate the value for money it is giving.

We offer four sizes of banner and these are: 60 x 120px; 90 x 120px; 125 x 125px & 240 x 120 px. Prices for these banners are £840, £1,000, £1,200 and £1,480 per 30 days.

ChemSpider Newsletter

The ChemSpider Newsletter is sent to over 6000 subscribers each month. Advertising space is available in three sizes:-

  1. 511 x 230 PX £2550 per issue
  2. 255.5 x 230 PX £1500 per issue
  3. 170 x 230 PX £800 per issue

Adopt a molecule

There are over 23 million molecules listed on ChemSpider and there are opportunities to sponsor these. You might want to select compounds that: you sell the most of; that you want to increase sales of; where you want to increase your market share or promote your product by sponsoring a competing product.

Prices are dependent on the number of searches made on a particular compound and are charged at a rate of £50 per thousand impressions basis.

Premium Advertisers

Premium advertisers receive enhanced services over and above ChemSpider’s normal banner advertisers. Your information will be served alongside relevant searches to ensure you target your products and services accurately. All featured advertisers will have bespoke profile pages that contain up to date information on your organisation, your products, appropriate pricing and contact information. A premium is attached to the price structure for this service.
